Ford’s second-to-last collection for the house. The season positioned the woman as dandy and coded the garments with 1920s and 30s deco inspired tailoring. The collection meshed control and fluidity, masculine cuts against deliberate sensuality.

This skirt operates in that space. Clean waistband, utilitarian button tabs at the hip, single back vent, fully lined, pencil proportions. Traditional in form, deliberate in restraint. Lined in matching wool. 100% wool, made in France.

One of the final collections produced under the Rive Gauche name before Ford’s exit in April 2004.
